Meet Lovey (aka Sadie): A Sweetheart with a Silly Streak
Lovey lives up to her name—she’s a gentle, goofy girl with a heart full of love and a serious affection for her people. A little shy at first (especially with strangers and sudden movements), she blossoms with patience and affection—and she’s especially fond of women.
She’s about 80% house-trained and working on the other 20% (watch that hallway!). While she prefers not to venture into the great outdoors after dark, she’s perfectly happy snuggled next to you or curled up in her crate.
Lovey gets along well with other dogs and is curious—but occasionally too excited—around cats (chase now, apologize later). That said, she’d also thrive as your one-and-only pup, soaking up all your love and attention.
During the day, she’s the perfect couch companion, quietly chewing her bones and chilling out. She’s treat-motivated, not food aggressive, bath-approved, and working on tolerating nail trims like the little champ she is. Best of all? She greets you like a rockstar every time you walk through the door.
Lovey is a mellow, loving girl who just wants a safe, patient home where she can snuggle, snack, and shine.
