Meet Georgia: The Cuddle Bug Learning to Trust Again
Georgia is a soulful sweetheart with big brown eyes and an even bigger heart. You can tell life hasn’t always been kind to her—she flinches at being left alone and cries when her people leave the room—but she's working so hard to come out of her shell, and with love and patience, she's blossoming beautifully.
Once Georgia feels safe, she melts into your lap, twisting herself into the tiniest ball just to be close. She loves nothing more than snuggles, attention, and just knowing you’re nearby. She’s working on her manners (like learning to wait to be invited before jumping up) and is proving to be a quick learner.
She gets along well with other dogs, especially playful ones, and loves a good game of tug-of-war with her foster brother. While she’s shown curiosity about cats and may want to chase, she’s learning. She’s also doing great with potty training—she’ll use pee pads indoors but is learning to go outside too.
Georgia is all about toys, chew bones, and cozying up near her people—whether it’s on a dog bed or tucked next to someone in bed. She hasn’t shown destructive behaviors as long as she has her toys, and she just wants to be part of a home where she’s safe, loved, and never left behind.
Georgia needs a gentle, patient family who understands that healing takes time—but who will be rewarded with endless affection from a truly special little dog.
