Hey everyone, I'm Lucy, a sweet and loving Cockapoo mix with a heart of gold! I may have had a rough start in life, but that hasn't dampened my spirit or my capacity for love. I was found in an orchard and brought to the rescue, where I endured a grooming session (I wasn't thrilled) and then landed in a fantastic foster home.
I get along great with other dogs, and I coexist happily with the cats here. I can be a bit stubborn sometimes, so I'd do best in a home that respects my space (no small kids, please!). I have bursts of energy where I love to play fetch with a good stuffed toy, followed by moments of sweet sleepiness.
I'm great in a crate at night and not much of a barker. When it comes to potty training, I’m excellent if I have a doggy door with easy access. If not, a regular routine of walks will do the trick. Cuddling on the couch or by your feet is my favorite, although I can be a bit of a grouchy sleeper—just a heads-up!
My soulful eyes will melt your heart every time I rest my head on your hand. I'm looking for a home that will give me time to grow, play with me, and indulge my love for cuddles.
