Meet Trixie: Mama Dog, Snuggle Queen, and Forever Friend in Waiting
Trixie came into our lives back in May of 2023, full of hope and carrying something even more precious—a belly full of puppies. She gave birth to a beautiful litter and watched with joy as every one of her babies found a loving forever home. But while their stories began, hers is still waiting to be written.
Trixie is around 3.5 years old and has all the energy and playfulness of a pup with the heart of a wise old soul. She loves kids and thrives on companionship, whether it's chasing a ball, playing tug-of-war, or curling up next to you for cuddle time. She’s fully potty trained, rides great in the car, and adores being involved in whatever her humans are up to.
She’s a confident, affectionate girl who knows what she wants—and what she wants most is a home where she can be someone’s one and only. While Trixie would do best as the only dog in the home, she can do well with calm, respectful dogs her size with a proper introduction. She just prefers a slower-paced dog friendship and isn’t a fan of pushy playmates. Cats, however, are a no-go.
This sweet girl has spent nearly two years waiting. Not because she isn’t amazing—but because the right fit just hasn’t come along yet. Trixie isn’t just a good dog. She’s a great one. She’s done her job raising her babies, and now it’s her turn to be the center of someone’s world.
